Star Aviation Services offers a positive work environment characterised by a supportive team culture and diverse workforce. Employees particularly value the opportunities for career progression within the aviation industry and appreciate the hands-on approach of management, especially noting the approachability of senior leadership. The welcoming work culture and family-like atmosphere are consistently mentioned as key benefits of working at the company.

Common challenges include adapting to the demanding schedule with early starts and split shifts, which can impact work-life balance. Poor work environment with toxic workers, managers, and leaders.
The good thingsAirport exposure and career progression
The challengesOps Supervisors - some are nice, others really are not Team Leaders - I like two, the others are often rude and disrespectful, good leaders and teachers but thee's more to being a good manager than that. One team leader has had it out for since day one and has made false reports and allegations about me and claims I "sabotaged his clean" when I have other team members and another team leader who state otherwise and know I didn't - and ever since I started has treated me like dirt, yelling at me and degrading me. Airport Manager is chill but also bias and limiting me in my ability to progress and treating me unfairly and giving bare minimum shifts (15 hours a week) as a part time employee while casual employees who started at the same time or after me are getting 30+ hours a week - feel so unappreciated and disrespected. I moved states for this job - not worth it. Would nto recomme nd working here if you care about your mental health and/or working in a healthy, supportive environment
