Good place to start a career, but not for long-term.
The good thingsLots of soft-skill training programmes. Plenty of opportunities for junior staff or fresh graduates to learn on the job. Exciting working environment for those who like the media space.
The challengesTransparency issues. Management can seem directionless when facing crises. Constant budget cuts taking a toll on morale. Performance impacted by constant doom and gloom atmosphere.

    Change is constant.
The good thingsThere are always things to learn, and the company provides a lot of opportunities to learn and grow by sending staff for training and related conferences. Staff are generally close-knit, especially within departments.
The challengesSometimes there is a feeling of a lack of general vision and long-term strategy. Inter-departmental cooperation can also be awkward, as each department tend to want to control their influence in revenue-generating businesses.

    Working and salary
The good thingsWorking hours and lunch/dinner break can be flexible. There is teamwork depending on the which department. For example, mutual understanding and discussion among us on working hours, situation/problems that arises can be soives by discussion. Even though we are closed but there is still a mutual respect and boundary.
The challengesWorking hours and demands of the job is getting more. For example, things can get complicated with communication breakdown. Bosses tend to expect unexpected things. For example, taking over other department job which not relevant/not related. Or sometimes doing more than 3 person job at the same time. Other department doesnt aware or tries to understand the job scope.

    Pro and Contra
The good thingsWe have been working together to develop new product, provide better work environment, enhance knowledge and skills, some value time together and work as a team. In term of work benefit, all the standard benefits are covered by company that make a lots of people stay longer in here. Company offered 2 months contractual bonus plus another bonus which is good for employees. One of the best.
The challengesWe have done a lot of changes in term of management from top to low level management. Company give more chance for employee to contribute any idea. With change of new management, company have set expectation for main business, from print to digital. To move to digital world, there are a lot of challenge where we need to choose right technology and partner to work together to achieve our goal.

The challengesThere will be always something new a head. Also, there is sometime a political interference in this company. But, don't care what happen. Normally, it will only effect the top management. We work as normal.
