Good People Development ProgramThe good thingsThe management provide the trust and responsibility to have and develop my own team. As it is my first time managing a team, I have highlighted to the management of my concern having the lack of experience as a people’s manager. My concern was listened to, and I was coached and guided through a series of training and coaching series by external trainers and the senior leadership team. Now I am managing a team of 15 members. I am glad and thankful for their effort in investing in me.
The challengesSome of the staff in the office have toxic behaviors. Long lunches and always missing in action. Management can be too trusting and staff is taking advantage.
