Significant improvement has been achieved, with still have rooms for further enhancement.
The good thingsThere is no office politics, and our workflow has significantly improved after filtering out underperforming staff who drained a lot of resources and required extensive training from senior employees. These individuals were unable to manage a reasonable workload, causing an imbalance workload for the performing staff. Currently, our colleagues are very helpful and uphold a strong knowledge-sharing culture, which empowers engineers to handle difficult projects more effectively.
The challengesSome customers prefer the agile methodology during system development, which can sometimes lead to engineer burnout due to frequent requirement changes and ad-hoc tasks. Management is actively seeking efficient ways to address this issue, such as allowing shorter project rotations for engineers. This approach aims to prevent any single engineer from handling a specific project for an extended period, thus reducing burnout and maintaining productivity.
