The best place for you if you are looking to live with TERRIBLE life qualityThe good thingsIt's worth saying that you will work with a branch of friendly colleagues, leads that will listen, birthday leaves, opportunity to travel oversea and there are benefits like employees can claim for spectacles etc
The challengesThere is no work-life balance here!
As a support engineer here, there's some time that we have to stand by so clients are able to reach out to us while they are having an issue, and this is a terrible thing. Let's imagine that you have to standby for 24/7, and even if you are sleeping, driving, or watching a movie at the weekend when the client calls, then you have to work no matter how.
Let's imagine mental health and physical health condition because of this, it's hard to have quality time with families and me time.
The salary is average for a support engineer role, but the job scope is not only dealing with the client, also includes deployment, QA, documentation etc.
The good thing is you will learn a lot, but the pay is too little for this high-pressure job scope.
