    Overall, I enjoy working here. This is the first company that gave me an opportunity in the Halal field after many rejections. I've learned a lot of new things, the salary is good, and the colleagues and work environment are great. I’m happy working here.
    The good thingsThe salary here is worth it. I’ve applied for similar roles elsewhere, but most offer lower pay. Here, the compensation is fair. Most importantly, there’s no disturbance after office hours, allowing a good work-life balance. My colleagues are also friendly. Initially, I was the only Malay employee in office, with the rest being Chinese, but that was never an issue. We work well together, and everyone is supportive.
    The challengesBefore this, I had no experience as a Halal executive. I had studied and attended courses related to Halal, but I had never actually worked in this role. When I first started, there was no proper handover because the previous person had already left before I joined. So, in the beginning, I had to learn everything on my own and frequently ask questions. Thankfully, everything turned out well, and I learned a lot through this process.

    This company is a field of work that I have never been exposed to. But here I can learn a lot of knowledge and gain a lot of experience in food management, cargo mobilization and purchasing. It also taught me how to negotiate costs with food suppliers that benefit the company and how to ensure adequate supplies.

    A PURELY CHINAMAN STYLE COMPANY
    The good thingsEat till you fat, A place for Freshgrade, you may gain experience, as you will need multi-functioning. A lots of non necessary entertainment to use of company budget. You may have the chance to transfer other departments when company don’t have suitable candidates to suit the positions. A place you no need to think you will be bored cause you will be work till don’t have time to think for staff work above 1.5 years. The great things is I most like don’t have increment every years cause you will get surprise anytime will increase within 5 years/per increment (average).
    The challengesDon’t have good verbal and non-verbal communication channel. Management style is “what you like to do, do it yourself”. Other challenges you need to feel it. Quite Nice and Suprise.
