Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn Bhd, has a very humble start back in 1999 when Terberg Benschop in Netherlands – who has been in the business for more than 150 years – and Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd established a Joint Venture in the delivering and manufacturing a niche product mainly used for seaport operations, which is the Yard Terminal Tractor, commonly known by the market as prime mover.Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd and its subsidiary – Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly Sdn Bhd has since then become a key regional player, in manufacturing and supplying Terberg terminal tractors with extensive product support capability and distributors network in Asia Pacific Region. To-date, the production line capacity in Malaysia has the capacity to achieve approximately 500 units of Terberg Terminal Tractors per year. TTM holds firmly to supplying of good quality products accompanied with good after sales support to meet customer expectations. To date, the JV has supplied Malaysian made Terberg yard terminal tractors to more than 20 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Oman and Tanzania – a testimony that we are the market leader for terminal tractors in Asia Pacific.
