The challengesThe biggest daily stress is definitely trying to live up to the company's "Where Special Comes as Standard" promise when our actual systems are strictly built for standard items. This clash is a nightmare. It creates a "cowboy style" of working where people often skip SOPs just to push orders through, making it impossible to implement and enforce proper standards. This problem is made worse because our clerical staff often doesn't care much about the SOPs, leading to silly mistakes that create massive rework for the rest of us.
