I was assigned to deals with real customer,marketing for their packages, pick up the phone,checking stocks,updates the passport, and attending courses umrah.The good thingsTabung Haji Travel & Services SDN BHD is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lembaga Tabung Haji. Total workers in Tabung Haji Travel & Services Sdn Bhd are 10 staff.I started my intern on 12 December 2016 and finished on 2 June 2017.I have to follow company’s regulation and rules. First of all, I was placed under umrah department which is I have to learn how the procedure to go to the umrah. The most important thing about VISA where I need to knew all document to process the VISA. Other than that, I need to fluent using URS (Umrah reservation system) for first step umrah booking process and serve a customer at the counter for booking the date for umrah and pick up the call by the customer to enquire about umrah. Staff at Th Travel is very supportive,motivate,and helpfull me as student practical.
The challengesMy level confident also increase by doing this job because I have to force myself to always communicate with the customer.Furthermore, during industrial training at Tabung Haji Travel & Services Sdn Bhd I had gained many of the experiences. Each of the department has their own tasks and works to do. I had done tasks and works completely which are assigned it to me. I also improved my skills and ability when I at the counter such as communication skill, confidence level and more.
