One of the best companies I have worked in !
The good things"Transparent", "Original", "Personalized". These are the benchmarks driving the TOP team when it comes to delivering services to clients.
It has been a great joy working with the team at TOP Beraten.
I have definitely grown a lot with TOP Beraten and extremely proud of the progress we have made so far. Amongst the perks of working in this team are:
1. Flexibility : It is definitely safe to say that there is no micro-management in the company. As long as you deliver the intended result within a given timeframe, you could work whenever, wherever, and however you want (of course with proper guidance). You also get to work from home where circumstances allow - on the other hand, you get to build up your time-management skill because you take ownership of your time and client deliverables.
2. Strong support : Management is open minded and supportive of learning initiatives, hence, as soon as you identify learning opportunities to improve your capability, the management is more than happy to send you to trainings and exposures (all under company expense).
3. Multicultural : The company operations and cultures are built upon German business ethics and cultural influence. With the unique specialisation providing services to European clients in Malaysia, apart from the opportunity to work with European clients directly, you are expected to collaborate with teams from different backgrounds along with vendors and partners from all over the world. The exposures and interaction with people from different culture are tremendous and continuous.
4. Perks and Fun : Strong team spirit cultivated by frequent team breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, coffee, dinner, drinks, and all the makan-makan. What I can say is that you will never get hungry (or thirsty) at work... Also, international company trip just because the company wants to let you know that all your effort and hardwork are being recognized and appreciated.
The challengesHonestly speaking, unless you are entrepreneurial, and see potential and silver lining in most things in life, you would struggle in such environment. The reasons being that you are given a lot of control and ownership for each of the deliverable. Hence, most of the time you will need to be able to learn things on the fly, think on your feet, make decision quickly and be able to support your decision based on logical assertion. Not everyone would enjoy or thrive in such setting.
