A Satisfactory experience which could be much improved
The good thingsI learnt new things such as in development project management the entire chain of processes starting from conceptual planning to the actual construction, what are the requirements for the various stages of work. I also learned about procurement and business development. In part I also learn what innovation and commercialisation of research is about and why it is important.
The challengesAs a private company within an academic environment which is also highly bureaucratic, processes and workflow as well as line of reporting are complex and unclear. There is no CEO for the company and a non-non-executive chairman of the Board that is indecisive and does not support the staff and management of the company.
