a valuable experiences which enhanced my abilities
The good thingsmost of the staff in the college was very friendly and supportive. as a new employee i had been well assisted by them in order to perform better in teaching, task, and handling the program as well as the students.
The challengesthe challenges was to compete with others in become the competent employee as they are. in term of teaching, it is quite challenge to precisely monitoring one by one students since there are high number intake per semester.

    Very bad
The good thingsDepending which students you teach, and depending which department you are teaching. Some are good, some are bad. Nothing much.
The challengesVery toxic working environment, office politics everywhere, even management is the worst, Full of arrogant people, they won't care about the staff's welfare, only focused on students. as students pay them. No benefits, perks, bad BoD, Some lecturers need to teach more than 4-6 subjects due to short-staff. Extremely heavy workload, schedules are so packed that has no time to rest at all. Quantity of students is more important than their QUALITY. Worst, cut salary for no good reasons even the salary is too low. Worst experience ever.

Great place to learn about higher education industry.
The good thingsGiven opportunity to give talks and travel. Flexible working hours really suit those who have kids and other responsibilities. Leader helps you develop strong communication skills and customer service skills.
The challengesRemuneration is not that good. The company should provide better salary to the advisors. The company should also focus more on promoting the name of the university/college as more students are looking towards continuing their studies at private universities.

great to experience all work in one time
The good thingsPressure but good learning . Employer and peer willing to teach and instruct until understood . More knowledge on how to handle variety people, events and opportunity to stand out the skills I have. Besides, got opportunity to present task and view on it .
The challengesIn my experience, salary will become an issue but the good side is you gain more knowledge and information will provide you be a better worker . Besides, the small issue like worker clique is a normal problem that you would faced in any organization.

    Overload of work
The good thingsThe students are great, they are very very very want to study, but the management is such as they will drain your energy, time etc, until at one level its called as ''crazy''. Plus, the feeling of always being used and never been appreciated is normal. Everything is possible.
The challengesSchedule, working hours are so overload for a lecturer to handle. At the end, how do you expect for one to keep the quality of teaching? It worst especially when it comes to your salary is very low for a lecturer.
