    Poor time management
The good thingsBig company and advantage of having multiple brands for exposure. Benefits are not bad but only if you can enjoy them.
The challengesPoor time management and leadership team do not understand how to communicate. You would think basic common sense to inform and allow 1-2 business days to complete - but it is always rushed for poor quality. Poor interview process as well. Should've been a red flag. Trust your instincts.

The management style will burn you out in the long run
The good thingsGreat company culture, people-oriented, a lot of interesting projects and fair benefits.
The challengesNo clear strategy, flip-flop style from management which results in many ad hoc and last minute tasks and "explorations". New directors also have become more micro-managing than previous directors. Work life balance and diversity can be improved.

    Poor Management
    The good thingsBenefit is fair.
The challengesPoor management who also lack of skill in communicating with lower level management. Very hierarchical culture. Everyone just work for own performance, lack of teamwork. Push for self achievement. Work life balance is not possible. Looks like very open minded, but actually political.

Great exposure but very little empowerment given.
The good thingsDepending on which department you are assigned to, the workload may vary accordingly. In a nutshell, I was very overwhelmed with work during the internship which allows you to gain insights into the organization. The company has also various activities for the employees where the interns are allowed to join as well and best of all, free ice-cream!
The challengesThe cons are that there is no structured learning for interns and you are expected to work very independently. Interns may not have any power or say to execute or lead works but this once again varies according to the situation so it will be best to discuss with your employer/ hiring manager your expectations before you make your decision.

Great working surrounding with great colleague
The good thingsThe Plant Manager was a great leader and the working surrounding is safe. Workers have to follow safety guidelines as it is a foods factory and it make sure the workers build up their disciplines. Apart from that, all the workers are friendly and they would gladly share their experinece working there.
The challengesIt is one of a nice place to work. Just positive challenges such as we have to follow the factory rules. But its is for own safety and others.

    Less is more
The good thingsGreat leaders as they will act as mentor in driving you in adding value especially in the ice cream category. They always believe in teamwork, integrity and leading by example. Hence, its always a good place to learn as long as your boss trust you and it will go against you if your superior does not trust you. Last but not least, it is the superior you follow not the company you are working that matters.
The challengesSadly a change of leader is a change of managent.

    Great Working Environment, Inexperienced Managers
The good thingsGood colleagues and great working environment with good employee benefits too depending on which department as well. Please do not expect so much as you will encounter challenges that even your superior can't help you to solve and it requires you to very much solve it on your own. If you are fresh to this industry, it is a good exploration but lack of knowledge that you can gain (depending on which function you are in) as people do expect you to know it beforehand and learn from mistakes. The company is taking good care of its employees very much which is good.
The challengesLack of experienced managers that can guide you and lead the team as most of them left the company for better advancement in career but hey, there's every opportunity for you to climb if you can stick to it and face the challenges on your own with minimal guidance.
