Challenging, yet good career development and positive environment
The good thingsLeadership and Growth, Impact on Students, Team Environment and Diverse Responsibilities.
The challengesBalancing Multiple Roles: As a Programme Coordinator, lecturer, and role model, you juggle various responsibilities, including academic oversight, student mentorship, and administrative duties. Managing these roles simultaneously can sometimes be overwhelming. High Expectations: Being in a leadership position, you're expected to maintain a high standard in academic delivery and ensure student success, which can add pressure, especially with ongoing curriculum updates and assessments. Limited Resources: Managing a team and ensuring quality education might be challenging when resources, time, or manpower are limited, particularly in meeting both academic and administrative demands. Personal Financial Growth: Despite your professional contributions, you’ve faced challenges in achieving financial goals, such as reaching a salary benchmark for personal milestones like homeownership.

The managements still need to improve on ways to guide employees. Especially in Marketing. Managements like to gave us briefing which 'guide' us to 'question' our abilities and 'reassure' us that working here is the best options for us.
The good thingsMedical benefits and plenty of annual leave
The challengesMentally and emotionally need to be strong. Not easy to understand the office culture.

The good thingsThe colleagues you enter with and enter out together.
The challengesTo many top Managements interfering. Bosses that does not follow the channel of hierarchy Especially the Marketing department. Because number are so important these days, the marketing staff has been increasing and the admin/lecturer/maintenance staff are just being bombed with work. How are we as an education institute retain staff and students without proper management? But it all ok because the marketing department are making numbers so money is the most important because student pay lecturer and staff salary that is the most important thing here. We are suppose to raise the next generation. But oh well...

Poor management and PhD (Perasaan hasad dengki)
    The good thingsSalary

The good thingsPrevious management allows empowerment thus encourage us to take risks (challenge) and learnt new things.
The challengesNew management (current) expects perfection and one-time delivery but limits number of human capital. Admin staff working in unhealthy environment (Registrar and HR always shout, cursing, looks for mistakes). Too much ad-hoc. Admin staff always leave late at night due to ad-hoc tasks. Working on weekends. Frequent admin staff reshuffle (3 to 4 times in a year). High admin staff attrition rate.
