The work-life balance is particularly appreciated, with flexible working arrangements and manageable workloads. The campus environment is praised for its beautiful views and excellent facilities, while the supportive colleague relationships create a positive workplace atmosphere. Convenient workplace, but limited opportunities for professional growth
The good thingsI have really enjoyed the time and money saved by working here, as the workplace is very close to my home. Being nearby has reduced my commuting time and transportation costs and can maintain work life balance sometimes.
The challengesSince joining, there has been no professional growth, as I remain in the same position without clear development or promotion opportunities. This is inconsistent with progress seen in other departments, particularly HR, and feels unfair to staff in other teams.

Working at the University of Nottingham Malaysia has been exceptionally rewarding, offering a great balance of professional growth and personal well-being.
The good thingsThis is an excellent place for learning and professional growth, providing access to advanced technologies and diverse expertise. It offers a good work-life balance, which is a significant improvement compared to my previous roles in manufacturing.
The challengesThe main challenge lies in harmonizing policies and procedures to streamline processes across different departments. Improvements in family medical benefits would enhance the overall staff experience.
