Uninspiring university with lack of vision
The good thingsFlexi hour and good colleagues
The challengesThe university is managed solely by individuals in the C-suite who have never taught a single class during their careers, yet they consider little to no input from academics. Coupled with weak academic leadership, the institution operates like a mass-production factory, where lecturers are treated like nuts and bolts that can be easily replaceable. Serious academicians should avoid this university.

    Fun workmates & good boss
The good thingsI worked as an AR at the BRSBE office and had great colleagues, supportive teammates, and the best boss, Prof. Zul.
The challengesThe constant meetings, lack of bonuses, & unclear career growth. Revenue is based on enrollments, with only a token RM500 duit raya during Raya. I left after the management shuffled faculty execs, changed our titles to AR, but kept the same pay. If you want to grow your career, this isn’t the place.

The good thingsGood Environment and teamwork among employees. Good relationship between subordinates and staff. We had an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in education sector.
The challengesconfussion between UNIRAZAK and UNITAR. How to correct mindset of some parent by telling them study at ipts sometimes more benifical then studied at IPTA or no matter either study at IPTA/IPTS. Both can produce good students.

The good thingsThey promise you a bright future with promising plan for you to climb up the management ladder. They also listen to your ideas at first during the interview session. Besides, the working environment is quite fun, plus the location of the university itself is really near to many interesting places such as KLCC what not.
The challengesThe top management especially the HR should value the staff more since staff are the asset to the company. You should not only listen to the suggestions but you need to consider them as well. Plus, please walk the talk since most of the staff really felt under valued by the management of the comapany.

The good thingsharmonious work environment, welfare of the employees are well taken care of, good opportunity for career development, the company encourages innovation, good learning opportunities from local as well as from international experts.
The challengeswork processes can be improved, need to strike for a good balance between commercial (profit oriented) and social development needs. Need to be more innovative in attracting potential students. Need to control cost of operations.

Equal high and low tides of Job experience
The good thingsNice culture, conducive and flexible work environment with smart people at the helm, many sports, culture and social activities for staff were organized, great training programme, great area; very convenient to restaurants, malls, shops, clinic and public transport, very supportive of direct superior, free drinks are provided (Milo, coffee, tea) in the pantry.
The challengesThe staff employment status on a permanent basis would have been better rather than on a contract basis. This resulted in a high employee turnover rate and due to job security. Some departments were understaffed and overworked. Slow job advancement.

    Great Working Environment
The good thingsRelationship between colleague are like a big family. We are close each other and enjoy work together. There were no gap between lower level and high level employee. Everyone can work together like one big family. We will help each other until the task is completed.
The challengesThe employee benefit that they offer was not so good compare to other companies. Most of the employees were offered the employment on contract basis for a few years and they fell not in a secure position.
