Uninspiring university with lack of vision
The good thingsFlexi hour and good colleagues
The challengesThe university is managed solely by individuals in the C-suite who have never taught a single class during their careers, yet they consider little to no input from academics. Coupled with weak academic leadership, the institution operates like a mass-production factory, where lecturers are treated like nuts and bolts that can be easily replaceable. Serious academicians should avoid this university.

    Fun workmates & good boss
The good thingsI worked as an AR at the BRSBE office and had great colleagues, supportive teammates, and the best boss, Prof. Zul.
The challengesThe constant meetings, lack of bonuses, & unclear career growth. Revenue is based on enrollments, with only a token RM500 duit raya during Raya. I left after the management shuffled faculty execs, changed our titles to AR, but kept the same pay. If you want to grow your career, this isn’t the place.
