    consider cost before performing maintenance
    The good thingsYou will learn a wide range of equipment function. You have the freedom to move around the facility as long you machine that you are in-charge of do not created automation failure. As an equipment technician, you only have to communicate with QA staff and IPQC, not require to communicate with production team. if any issue this two governing body will communicate with you.
    The challengesAs a technician i need document to make good suggestions in troubleshooting problems. So i see this as a lacking element. As an equipment technician, i have to handle and manage the problem of the machines and any down time that occurred is because of my lack of incompetence to complete the problem. while the superiors above me will be missing and not accountable to help me complete the problem. their response only can be observed only when there is presence of pressure by the higher management. To understand machines, you only can observe how superiors perform troubleshooting. There is no technical manual for some machines. I wanted technical manual, as it isn't presents i had to find and download for myself. There are some health and safety issues that are neglected just for the cost and time.

    The good thingsRepeatiting task every day. Can see the new engineer join us every few months. Learnt dealing with issues from each department, which required high independence and technical knowledge. Overall colleague is friendly, but will turn the table when facing responsibility.
    The challengesOperator not obey engineering instruction. The tight deadline for every production model causing us to work overtime every day. Top management is result orientated, therefore aggressive performance is required. Expect new operator to learn everything in a short time.
