    The challengesBeing a software engineer, everyday is a new challenge. But im always open to the challenges I had. So there's actually not much things I dislike.

    Not for the faint hearted
    The good thingsA lot of things to learn, a lot of problems to fix everyday. Work in a team to build/fix the app everyday. There's a project manager that deals with customers and stakeholders and need to attend their marketing events and talk to customers directly.
    The challengesA startup with the CTO not knowing how to support and grow his team. He goes absent when there's a serious issue leaving everyone hanging for weeks. Attend events and deal with customers is nice but it becomes disruptive when its daily. Money is good here but I hear the support staff don't get bonus

    Keep everyday as a Day 1
    The good thingsOur company do have a great team to help each other out. No worries on joining our team. We improve together as a team and as individual, contribute what we can do everyday and eventually be a better self of yesterday.
    The challengesWhat you need to do is ask. Grab the opportunity to ask. You might see seniors busy all the time but believe it there is always a slot of free time for you to ask them.

    A good company with a good seniors
    The good thingsIn here, you can learn about how a software company works. It is also a place where you can experience the life of a developer. Developing things and fixing bugs is their everyday things in here. Oh and the office pantry and their fridge are always full with foods and drinks.
    The challengesNeed to be more proactive and cannot be afraid of talking or seeking help from seniors. They are actually a nice person. And also the culture of eating lunch together need to be improved such as fixing a lunch time.

    Great experience that I will never regret
    The good thingsThere is a great vision of the company for the community is to actually be SMEs best IT partner to improve their business. Such a huge vision, it seems like impossible but the leaders in the team, which are CEO, Shane, and CTO, Phillip, have always a plan to achieve it. The team is strong that we can stay together and solve most of the problems. The biggest takeaway from the company is that nothing is impossible in this world if we actually want it to happen.
    The challengesWe might not have our expected work life balance. This is the only challenge that we need to overcome to gain more experience.

    The good thingsCool office with a unicorn! Free flow pantry food and drinks and walking distance to LRT/MRT station. Founders are entrepreneurial and transparent. The team is relatively young, with median age of 24-26 years old. The company is ambitious and moves fast, so there are unlimited opportunities for everyone to shine and be proud of their work coming to fruition. Agile is practised by their engineering team and you will learn how to proactively ask the RIGHT questions as there is no spoon feeding, not even to interns.
    The challengesAs expected in a startup, growing fast comes with a price. New members have to be quick on their feet or they might get left behind.
