Waldorf Sasana is independent of state funding and its three-fold organisation involvesa Board of Governors (Board), a Principal working with the College of Teachers, and aParent Representative School Group (PRSG).The Board is responsible for the quality of the education and strategic development ofthe school and ensures that available resources are used prudently to ensure the bestoutcomes for staff and students. The Board’s role is one of governance.The management of the school is delegated by the Board to a Principal working with the College of Teachers and College Work Group. With regard to teaching and learning, the Principal and College of Teachers ensure the principles and practices of Waldorf Education are embedded in the curriculum and approach to teaching while also responsive to the specific cultural context of Malaysia. The Principal works with a College Work Group, to oversee the day to day administration of the school and ensure there is an ongoing cycle of internal evaluation to inform annual and strategic planning.The volunteer role of the PRSG is one of community development and fundraising within the context of the strategic and annual plan determined by the Board and College.These three bodies, the Board, the Principal with College, and the PRSG, each hold regular meetings and work collaboratively.
