If you're looking to work here - RUN• The hotel continues to operate on a 6-day work week, despite prior assurances of a transition to a 5-day work week over two years ago. This commitment remains unfulfilled, adding to staff fatigue, especially given the persistent manpower shortages across departments. • The work culture is highly challenging, with instances where employees are pressured to resign once they are perceived as no longer beneficial to management. • The HR department lacks efficiency and responsiveness, often delaying critical staffing and administrative matters. • Due to widespread staffing shortages, the hotel is heavily reliant on part-timers and interns, which affects service consistency and team morale. • Staff turnover is extremely high, with many unable to complete even one full year of employment due to the demanding and unsupportive environment. • Despite achieving revenue targets in 2024, no bonuses or performance incentives were distributed, which has negatively impacted employee motivation. • The work-life balance is poor. Staff are occasionally required to report to work outside of their scheduled hours, particularly when covering for colleagues on medical leave. • There is a noticeable lack of diversity within departments, with one ethnic group making up 80–90% of certain teams, raising concerns about inclusivity and representation.
