The colleagues are great, but salary payments are consistently delayed and old school and incompetence working systemI began working here after graduating. The company is quite prominent within the Royal Malaysian Air Force, primarily for its defence and MRO services, having been in the industry longer than most of us have been alive. The colleagues here are wonderful, representing various generations and bringing wisdom and extensive experience (some of them are ex-Air Force). This is an excellent place for fresh graduates and those just starting their careers, as well as for individuals looking for a relaxed working environment with a steady pace. It's also suitable for those juggling two jobs who can patiently await delayed salaries without any fuss. It truly is a good company.
However, do not expect any career growth or to climb the corporate ladder if you don't play the company politics, have this "cable" with the upper management staff, or even better, the managing director, or perhaps an internal connection with the air force. There is no increment at all, so don't expect a yearly bonus or a festive one. Everything is on a tight budget. Salary is paid in full, but the delay is irksome, especially when you have countless commitments to manage each month. EPF is also delayed, but amusingly, it is deducted every month. Though the colleagues are great, sometimes the upper managers are very annoying, and some staff from different branches are also incorrigible, such that even an official memo sent to them elicits no action. During meetings, everyone wants to appear commendable and proactive and ends up pointing fingers at other departments (especially the younger and inexperienced staff) instead of accepting blame themselves. It is full of rubbish. The workflow style is also very old school. If you are a young staff member, don't expect your voice to be heard, as you are all working with a GenX and a boomer.
