Librarians may work for schools, the government or private companies. They must be knowledgeable about cataloguing and classification standards. On a daily basis, they assist library users in finding specific material, manage the library's database, and research new potential collections for acquisition. Apart from daily administrative tasks such as managing the library's budget and procuring new materials, they also promote and suggest books for library users to view or borrow.Tasks and duties

- Organising events to promote reading and engagement in the library.
How to become a Librarian
Librarians must be of legal age and have completed a library management, information system, or library management degree. Some companies may require a library media specialist or bilingual education certification, or an information technology infrastructure library master qualification.
- 1.Attain at least a college diploma with a library management or information system-related degree.
- 2.Have personal knowledge of the texts you wish to manage to be of help to those seeking information.
- 3.Apply for a librarian job in the academe, the government, or private sector. These may require certain certifications or qualifications.
