- Organising outbound shipments.
How to become a Warehouse Assistant
No formal qualifications are needed to become a Warehouse Assistant. Typically, you will receive on-the-job training. In this career, experience is very valuable since you might encounter procedures that utilise machinery.
- 1.Complete your SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia). A basic understanding of mathematics is essential in handling the inventory.
- 2.You can apply for an apprenticeship where you will receive formal training on the processes of a warehouse operator.
- 3.Look for employment in your chosen field. You can apply for roles in manufacturing or retail businesses. You can also get a forklift licence to perform more advanced tasks.
