What’s it like working at Ananas Premium Sdn Bhd?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate the opportunity to be exposed to multiple areas, which helps broaden their skill set and experience at Ananas Premium Sdn Bhd. The provision of accommodation and utility costs is seen as a valuable benefit, and the hands-on, fast-paced environment with constantly changing tasks suits those who enjoy dynamic work settings.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as work-life balance concerns with staff sometimes being contacted during official leave days, a lack of clear boundaries between departments leading to overlapping responsibilities, the absence of proper SOPs requiring staff to figure out processes independently, and meetings that may not always result in clear actionable outcomes.

A challenging yet diverse experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where I was frequently required to take on cross-functional roles amid poor work-life balance, unclear structures, and limited support
The good things1. Opportunity to be exposed to multiple areas 2. Accommodation and utility costs are provided for employees. 3. Suitable for individuals who prefer hands-on, fast-paced environments with constantly changing tasks
The challengesWork-life balance is poor. Even on official leave days, staff may still be contacted to resolve issues or assist with operations. Lack of clear boundaries between departments. Operational staff are frequently asked to handle sales-related responsibilities without proper structure or incentives. Frequent meetings without direction. Weekly meetings are conducted, but often do not result in real progress or actionable solutions. No proper SOPs in place. Staff are expected to figure out processes on their own, leading to inefficiencies and repeated work. Top-heavy culture. Supervisors often function as decision-makers without formal accountability, while general management lacks direction and tends to shift blame onto staff. Employees are over-utilised. There is a tendency to stretch staff across multiple roles under the pretext of "helping the company," often without proper recognition or support.
