    Listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd since 26 November 1996, Ann Joo has always been striving to stay competent within the industry by delivering the best quality of steel products and services to our customers.Our story begins in 1946 when the late Mr Lim Kah Seng founded Chop Ann Joo as a sole proprietor dealing in scrap metal. Growing over the years, we are proud to say that we are the first integrated steel mill in Southeast Asia to be ISO certified.Right now, the Group is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of steel and steel-related products. As the largest steel manufacturer in Malaysia, we aim to excel as the most cost-competitive and profitable global steel manufacturer in the near future.Understanding that diversity drives creativity, the Group is now housing more than 1,500 employees ranging from baby boomer to Generation Z in our manufacturing and trading divisions. With the belief that ‘working together is success’, we always encourage our employees to work with one another regardless of age, ethnicity, nationality, and gender as only in such way, we are able to create a harmonious working environment for all.

    Good to learn a lot of things and need to be actively involve in everything.
    The good thingsLot of things can be learn. From technical to report.
    The challengesLot of things need to know. Bad management where HOD want engineer to know everything instead of only the job assign. Lot of ad-hoc work and lies in reporting. Need to actively involve in everything and updated everything if want to get good appraisal.

    Just ok, but it good for fresh graduate to start here,, you will learn so much thing
    The good thingsHaving good colleagues and superiors is the best part of my department. Other than that, the benefits here are pretty standard—time off, meal allowance, dental coverage, and no issues with performing prayers. The salary is average for a fresh graduate with 1+ year of experience.
    The challengesOne challenge here is dealing with a micromanaging boss. Also, there has been a gap in salary... if you know, you know (IYKYK). Too much work is assigned to one person, and at times, overtime is necessary

    The good thingsThe Top management mindset is slowly opening, changing and listening to the employees. Overall are improving in order to compete for the talents! Now the remuneration package, compensation and benefits are getting better in order to retain and attract the talents. The bonus can go up to 6 months (no joke!)
