What’s it like working at Arem (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Arem (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. appreciate the autonomy and freedom to work without micromanagement, as well as the friendly and supportive colleagues. While learning opportunities are limited, there are chances to learn new things occasionally, and the work provides opportunities to develop soft skills and problem-solving abilities.

However, some potential challenges include management's involvement in political dynamics restricting learning opportunities, inadequate benefits with employees being assigned to distant locations despite a travel allowance, and disruptions to work-life balance due to constant communication from management, including late-night, early morning, and weekend communications. Additionally, a combination of staff shortages and pressure from management and clients can result in a high-stress environment. Employees may also be required to perform tasks outside their job scope and be answerable to those tasks, and there are concerns about increment policies favoring select individuals rather than being merit-based.

    Good for career growth
The good things1) Be independent. You have to do it on your own. This is the best for career development. 2) Less supervision/guidance from superiors. This shows that the company trusts you to do it on your own and lets you develop your skills and gain experience from learning to do it on your own. Good networking with suppliers/vendors/acquaintances in the same industry may help you in gaining experience as they may guide/advise you from their experiences/points of view. 2) Train yourself to be more skillful and strengthen your problem-solving skill 3) Teach you to be more punctual and time management so that you won't be late to go to work even one minute. Train you to clock in/out on time. 4) Teach you a lesson that you need to obey all the legally binding contracts between employer and employees to prevent you to go to court. This shows that the company teaches you to be disciplined. 5) Learn to be smart.
The challenges1) There are no challenges working here as all the good things have been mentioned above. All positive values added are given working here.
