Wonderful experience as a Civil Engineer Trainee
The good thingsI have great and friendly colleagues, especially my boss. They trusted me as an individual and involve me in the discussion of long term project although I am here for only 2 months. I am assigned to handle a P&C project by the boss of company. My mentor brings me along for client meetings and construction site visit. I am amazed by the his patience and dedication in coaching the young engineers.
The challengesMy boss expect me to submit the project in the shortest period of time. I started on Friday and I have to come back to office on Saturday to finish up the leftover and deliver to my boss. It's such a wonderful and challenging experience for me because I have never tried the new software before. My mentor was there helping me familiarize with the new software given.
