What’s it like working at Brightstar Logistics?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Brightstar Logistics offers notable benefits including strong career development opportunities where employees can progress from junior to senior positions. The company culture promotes teamwork and collaboration, with colleagues readily supporting one another, and employees appreciate the flexible working arrangements that allow them to manage their schedules.

Areas for improvement include the need for more structured onboarding and training processes, as new employees often need to learn independently. The absence of clear standard operating procedures can make task completion more challenging, and some employees note that the location and facilities could be enhanced, particularly regarding parking and nearby amenities.

It’s a good place to learn fast under pressure, but not for long-term growth or peace of mind
The good thingsIf you’re the type who learns by surviving chaos, you’ll definitely pick up new skills quickly here. Also you’ll get to do a lot of hands-on work, so you’ll learn plenty and really get to put your knowledge into practice. My previous manager (resigned) was actually quite helpful. She taught me a lot, especially about problem-solving and critical thinking.
The challengesThe company has serious micromanagement issues, and there’s basically no proper SOP — so everyone does things their own way. People come and go so often that you waste time teaching new staff every other month. Some colleagues are nice, but many just mind their own business. You’ll often need to do work outside your job scope, and don’t expect fair rewards for it. You can work your heart out, but bonus and increment are based on who the management likes, not performance. Oh, and there’s no parking, so get ready to go back and forth change the parking when lorry going out. Very hectic and so annoying! Oh don't be surprise when you complaint, there's no solution from management. The environment feels toxic from top to bottom, and it drains you more than it builds you. If you value mental health and fair treatment — maybe think twice before joining.

happy work here for long years
The good thingsAs an Accounts staff, I work for a group of companies. It was challenging at the beginning when I started as a junior but my superiors guided me well. This job is very good for career growth and learning many things. I am thankful to the management and colleagues because I have learned a lot. I started as a junior after graduation and now I see myself in a senior position without any self-doubt. I have good market value now
The challengesnothing much to say. Overall good to work
