Great experience, great people.The good things- wasn't hard to feel included in the company, everyone was welcoming and accommodating both within the department and from other department.
- even the management were engaging with the employees where they'd occasionally have chats with the employees (inviting us out for lunch or coffee)
- though it was a new industry for me, i had the good manager who guided me through the business and gave me pointers to develop my skills.
- notice that everyone has equal opportunity to make their contribution and take lead on certain projects including myself. i wouldn't have this opportunity in my previous place.
- amazed by their generous benefits such as optical, dental, health screening. then there is also claims for personal insurance, handphone bill, internet bill, gym/sports activity.
- not forgetting providing employees with a coffee dispensing machines will an assortment of coffee flavours and also hot chocolate. they even installed a vending machine.
- every Monday we were provided with lunch courtesy of the company.
The challenges- there are quite a number of ad hoc duties that took up some of my time and at times working slightly late. thankfully i had a team who provided support when i needed help
- some processes were not clearly defined which causes some delay (my experience with a couple of departments)
