Good for freshy, but salary not on time
The good thingsGood for fresh graduates. If you would like to polish your communication and english proficiency, I would say this is the right place. It is a support center, so expect to pick up calls and replying emails. Good colleagues but salary always late. Huge salary gap between foreign speakers and english speakers. Foreign speakers earn 3 times more perks eventhough they dont really utilize the third language. Good IT exposure.
The challengesAverage salary, HR not really responsive, poor benefits. Contract 2 years basis.

    Low pay, good working environment
The good thingsThe BPO client provides enjoyable working environment and a good place to grow. Good place to grow but not a place for career
The challengesLow pay/reimbursement with so-so management by HR.

    More pluses than minuses.
The good thingsWorking at Confluence, I really enjoy the vibe and atmosphere here. Not only is it open & honest, but I also enjoy the inclusivity and diversity overall. They take great measures in looking after their employees from planning events and programs for us to participate in even smaller things like remembering a birthday. One of the things that impressed me was how attentive the management team was. During the lockdown, when they heard I was going through a tough time, one of the staff reached out to check on me which was something I really appreciated. I can tell self-growth is something they pay a lot of attention to for each individual. Most companies tend to have the stance of “I pay, you work” but at Confluence, I feel like it's “I pay you, but let’s grow together”.
The challengesI would say the salary is not compatible, but other than that, I don’t have much to complain about.

Work hard and do your best
The good things- The team is friendly and welcomes you warmly. - As long as you put in the work and achieve targets, management rewards well
The challenges- Working long days/week when urgent projects and matters pop up at work. - Communication between management, internal and external is frayed. Would suggest if management could encourage or speak to employees more.

    Not for me
The good thingsAll the accommodations and facilities is good. (There is surau for muslims) They provided foods. (Endless cereals and coffees) Good PC provided. Training provided.
The challengesWorking hours is too much. Not gonna blame on the company but working hour is based on US (Based on what your team supporting). Bonus is hardly 2-3% and no actual career development.

    Great place to work
The good thingsThe working culture here is the best place that i have work. I would recommend the company to my friends as the company management is very much cautious in taking a decision and systematic.
The challengesThe working shift timing which does not suits me as i am seeking for passive income.

It's a great working environment with alot of potential
The good thingsThe awesome technicality of my work suits my nature to do research and learn new things. Furthermore, I have a great Group Lead that encourages good working values without micromanaging my free-will to navigate through my work.
The challengesDocumentation and human resources workflows.

    Issues with management.
The good thingsConfluence placed me in a highly reputable multinational company with clients from all over the world. I was placed in a team consisting of high performing individuals, and provided with good office equipment (a capable computer). The working environment was comfortable.
The challengesManagement of employees could be handled better. Talking about a raise for performances was discouraged. There is no compassionate leave. Once, a relative passed away, and I was expected to provide a death certificate (from the grieving family). My Team Leader was not capable (Leader had no experience in the support that the team provided), and the management set goals which were not feasible. The buck was passed down to the employees, rather than the management understanding the capabilities of their employees.

The good thingsI enjoy talking and sharing experience with the people over there. They are very open minded. They are open to new ideas. The team leader treat everyone in the team very well. The working environment is good.
The challengesTalking to people where english are not their native language is hard. The HR team in this company is very bad at solving problem. example will be 1)I will have to wait over one year to get my employee insurance 2) I can not get my working confirmation letter after months of asking, until I finally give up. Sum up, the company (ESRI) which they are supporting is good, NOT CONFLUENCE.

    no benefits
The good thingsThe people I hired...my team.
The challengesThe company claims that all employees are not under the Malaysian employment act because all our salaries are above rm 2000 and therefor not entitled to things like 60day hospitalization, sick leave ..even maternity. And didNt inform anyone upfront. Their increment is max 3% while bonus which is hardly heard of is rm500. They dont put any value in employee retention, and most people are underpaid
