    Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. In the fiscal year 2024 the business areas, which now belong to AUMOVIO, generated sales of 19.6 billion Euro. The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations.

    The challengesManagers lacked clear & well-defined KPI, difficult for employees to set goals & work towards advancement. Performance KPIs unclear, led to confusion and inconsistent evaluations. Favoritism & personal connections played a significant role in decision-making, created an unfair and biased work environment. Bonus rates were disappointingly low, and the company's justification of "cost reduction" was not convincing, leading to dissatisfaction among employees. The new generation of young management lacked of necessary experience and capabilities to effectively lead the team, which resulted in poor decision-making and guidance. Office politics were rampant, with managers often focusing on their own interests rather than the well-being of the company. Instead of prioritizing sales and growth, management tended to focus on minor issues. Escalation process was ineffective, with issues often being bounced back to the working level without clear solutions, leading to frustration and wasted time.
