What’s it like working at Coty Asia?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Coty Asia appreciate the friendly and helpful colleagues, great products offered by the company, and the efforts by HR to organise employee activities and provide benefits. The culture allows for ownership and flexibility, with opportunities to learn from challenges and the leadership team. There is also exposure to international businesses and growth opportunities as Coty Asia expands.

However, some potential areas for improvement include addressing unreasonable demands and last minute work, fostering better teamwork and transparency across departments, and moving away from a blame culture. Enhancing the work culture with more focus on relationship building and employee participation in activities could also be beneficial. There are instances of micromanagement that could be addressed. Additionally, the location of the office is inconvenient for some, the workload can be high at times, and more team building initiatives could be implemented.

the colleagues are great but not much transparency and teamwork. Mostly if problem arises it is like a blame game instead of working together as a team
The good thingsthere are some colleague who are friendly and willing to help you. There are great products under the company. The HR is great put in effort to make activities for the employees. There are some benefits like claims, samples and many more
The challengesmost of the works are last minute. Unreasonable demands, not much team work and no transparency between different departments. when problem arise find people to blame. the working culture is bad, is just work and go back, no sense of relationship building and employees do not actively participate on different activities. It can sometimes be micro-managing too.

    Great opportunity for learning
The good thingsOpportunity learning to handle difficult challenges. Lots of knowledge passed down from leadership team (top management). Exposure to international businesses and leading markets A growing company - think like a start up
The challengesThink like a start up means that there are a lot of hands on, which can mean the work is over loaded. Less or few team building initiatives
