Big Education Company but a lot of outdated minds
The good thingsFriend and family around you feel envy or maybe proud. Feel nothing special, same as working at other small companies.
The challengesApply for Assistance level position but tasked to do work beyond assistance level. When asked for a promotion or raise, they say your education level beyond qualifications... Experience is judge by your education level or vice versa. Take a step back and review back what you apply for.

Quite toxic due to internal politics
The good thingsYou'll get a wide exposure working here. You will learn to manage stress and time well.
The challengesThe internal politicking are quite bad in recent years. Quite a number of key staff left in the span of 2 years. A few staff has been thrown into another department (with little to no notice) so they would quit on their own. Expect heavy workload as they've frozen quite a few position.
