I enjoyed the working hours and found the workload manageable. However, the management was poor, especially among senior staff who often avoided responsibilities and behaved unprofessionally. The manager’s mood also heavily influenced the work environment. Overall, the company itself was fine, but the management culture had many red flags.
The good things I used to enjoy working here. The level of busyness was manageable. I liked the working hours, and the one and a half hour break.
The challengesThere were many things I didn’t like. The senior staff seemed incompetent — they often passed their work to others, left during working hours whenever they wanted, and even though they were supposed to start at 8am, they would spend time eating or chatting in front before only entering the office around 10am. If we did the same, they would complain to the manager. When asked about work, they would say they didn’t know, even though they had been working there for more than 10 years. Then they would still complain to the manager that we didn’t know how to do the job, when in fact they were the ones who couldn’t give us proper guidance. The manager also acted based on mood — if he was in a good mood, things were fine, but if not, he would get angry at everyone. Very unprofessional. To put it simply, the company itself wasn’t the problem, but the management was terrible, especially the long-time staff. There were many red flags about the management here.
