What’s it like working at EEW Malaysia?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at EEW Malaysia appreciate the observance of public holidays, learning opportunities related to welding processes, the autonomy to make their own decisions, and the support from managers who listen to them. They also value the good working environment and the company's 70 years of experience in steel pipes.

However, there are potential challenges, such as concerns about lack of strong leadership, financial instability with cashflow issues, and restructuring efforts like retrenchments and lay-offs, which have impacted employee morale. Some employees feel that top management does not consider their opinions or ideas, even at the manager level, and that client requirements are not always followed during production, potentially impacting quality. Additionally, there are concerns about limited opportunities for career growth and instances of office politics, with some employees prioritising their own positions over finding solutions to problems.

The challengesThis company always have retrenchment, lay-off and now voluntary separation scheme. Very de-motivated company. One time can retrench the employees and can rehire the same employee for other department. Can have severe cashflow issue company. Thank me if you decide not to take up any job offer or dream to work for this company.
