Always short-staffed. People multitask at the highest, no work-life balance. The good thingsTheir staff meal and COLA allowances quite good. You can learn a lot about retail and f&b here. The only things that makes me happy is when my customer satisfied with my service. Some of the customers show empathy at how we work when we have to handle everything alone.
The challengesHigher management should look at how they can help staff to handle all the work pressure and give support instead off give more works and expect all done but the one who have to do it ALONE. They do not even care about staff,they only care about sales. Poor leadership from higher management.
