A fulfilling experience that offered valuable exposure to regional IT operations, strong teamwork culture, and continuous opportunities for professional growth despite occasional cross-functional challenges.
The good thingsGreat environment for growth, collaboration, and work-life balance" Working at Fujitsu has been a rewarding experience, both professionally and personally. The company offers a supportive work culture that encourages continuous learning and collaboration across regional teams. I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse colleagues from Asia and Europe, which helped broaden my perspective and enhance my skills, especially in ITSM operations and stakeholder management. The management team is approachable, and communication is generally transparent. There's also a strong emphasis on teamwork, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. Fujitsu provides flexibility when needed and values work-life balance—something I really appreciate. The organization also invests in its people by offering training, certifications, and exposure to global projects. For anyone looking to build a career in IT services, especially in incident and problem management, Fujitsu is a great place to grow.
The challengesLike any large global organization, Fujitsu comes with its own set of challenges. Coordinating across multiple time zones and regions can sometimes lead to communication delays or differing priorities. In certain situations, decision-making processes may be slower due to the layered organizational structure. Additionally, resource limitations in some local teams can create extra workload pressure during peak periods. However, these challenges have also helped me develop stronger problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. With the right mindset and support, they become valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.

    Mixed Feeling When Working Here
The good thingsI have mixed feelings about working at this company. I like the variety of tasks I'm assigned and how it helps me develop a broad range of skills. However, the company culture can be difficult to navigate, especially if you're introverted. The managers are generally friendly and helpful, and the benefits package is comprehensive, with medical, dental, and gym membership subsidies. Overall, this company is a good fit if you enjoy socializing and team-building activities, but it might not be for everyone.
The challengesThe company's salary scale is significantly lower compared to the current market, which can be a major concern. Additionally, the management seems to have a lack of understanding of the project team's capacity, which results in unrealistic project requirements. Moreover, the company has too many unnecessary KPIs and training programs that can be tiring, considering the workload of the employees. Lastly, the lack of proper guidance and support from the management can make it challenging for employees to be independent all the time.
