The Hempel Group of Companies was established by J.C. Hempel in Copenhagen, Denmark on 4 July 1915, when just before his 21st birthday he became Denmark's youngest licensed wholesaler and one of the first manufacturers of ready-made marine paints.On 30 November 1948, he transferred all his company's assets to the J.C.Hempel Foundation, of which he remained Chairman until he passed away in 1986. The purpose of the Foundation is to secure and to preserve a sound financial base for Hempel A/S and its subsidiaries so they will continue to develop and expand on a sound commercial platform.The assets that make up the basic capital of the Foundation cannot be sold, mortgaged, used as collateral for loans, nor in any way be disposed of as long as the Foundation exists.The J.C. Hempel Foundation supports cultural, social, humanitarian, scientific and other objectives for the common good, mainly within shipping, trade and industry.Its current main sponsorships are the Technical University of Denmark, The Royal Danish Theatre and the Danish Olympic Sailing Team. Through the J.C. Hempel Cultural Fund it operates the cultural centre at the Anneberg estate in Denmark.Hempel (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Hempel Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd are 100% own by Hempel A/S.On 18 Feb 2003, we had the honour of His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark inaugurating our new factory in Kluang, Malaysia. Total investment in the new factory amounts to Euro six million with production start-up and delivery of paint to the Malaysian and Southeast Asian markets from February 2003. FinancialHempel Group results for 2005:Hempel's sales rose by 12% in 2005 to EUR654.5 million, up from EUR583.7 million. Operating profit was up 4.7% to EUR44.7 million from EUR42.7 million.Net profit was 29.8 million, marginally down from EUR30 million for the same period last year.Sales were significantly boosted by growing sales in the US, where the Protective segment in particular performed well.High levels of activity in the Marine Newbuilding segment in Asia and Europe also helped sales, which grew by 5%.

    The good thingsUsing advance system. Easy monitoring on open sales order but executive level no skill and poor in excel to analyze the data. Sometimes give a lie reason to hide weakness.
