Jumeirah Music Centre (JMC) opened in Jumaira Plaza, Dubai in April 2004. Since then, JMC has been working towards promoting quality music education to children and adults. Its purpose is to provide Dubai community with the finest educational program in music that will foster a lifelong source of enjoyment and self-expression. The value of the centre’s training initiative is enormous. Since 2004, we have been educating children in music literacy. JMC follows an international curricula for all our instrumental lessons and kindermusik classes. This means that our students can continue their music lessons using the same syllabus when they relocate to another country. As a result of music training, the children also develop self-confidence, improve concentration and learn social skills through participation in JMC’s regular end of year concerts and performances. Students who come to Jumeirah Music Centre gain strong music foundation which keeps them on top of the class in their primary or secondary school music program. Some of our students have continued to pursue Music and Drama in College.
