Learning, adapting, growing at the Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Alor Gajah. The good thingsDuring my internship at the Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Alor Gajah, I truly enjoyed gaining first-hand exposure to real court proceedings and learning how cases are managed professionally. Besides, I appreciated the opportunity to interact with court officers, lawyers, and staff, which helped me understand the working culture and improve my communication skills. As a part of my studies, also enjoyed being trusted with tasks such as preparing documents, assisting in administrative work, and observing hearings.
The challengesOne of the challenges I faced during my internship was adapting to the formal working environment and legal procedures, which required precision and discipline. Another challenge was the limitation of time to fully explore all departments, as the internship period was quite short. I believe the experience could be improved by providing more structured guidance or a rotation system for interns, so that we could gain broader exposure to different tasks and responsibilities.
