What’s it like working at Mahwengkwai & Associates?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Mahwengkwai & Associates appreciate the flexible working arrangements, which were particularly helpful during the COVID-19 era, as well as the fair pay and friendly environment with approachable bosses and colleagues. They also enjoy benefits such as local overseas trips, office outings, and bonuses. Employees without a legal background value the learning opportunities provided by the firm and the understanding and helpful nature of the bosses and lawyers.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a heavy workload with multiple ongoing projects at one time, which can be difficult to manage. Some employees suggest that it would be beneficial to focus on completing one project before starting another, rather than juggling multiple projects simultaneously. There is also a need to ensure that the right people are assigned to the right teams, and to avoid having too many cross-functional teams. Additionally, employees sometimes receive last-minute instructions, which can be challenging to manage.

The challengesHeavy workload and too many ongoing projects at one time Would be better if can focus and get a project completed before starting another new project. Get the right people for the right teams, try to avoid too much of cross functional teams.

    good boss
The good thingsi have no experience in law but when i working here started learning slowly, the boss of mine Mr Goh Keng Tat was very helpful and understanding, same as others bosses. lawyer very friendly and staff also very helpful. i am doing auction property and usually when a week before auction date we all very busy, as all staff need to do overtime sometime all the bosses and lawyer also doing overtimes
The challengesi have to learn about litigation, documentation of property, and the law about auction property. all the documentation must key in properly, have to do advertising, dealing with bank. its very challenging for me because i don't have any law back ground. but i am so proud i still can manage it.
