Staying in this organization may hinder your professional development.
The good thingsThe organization operates at a slower working pace.
The challenges- The KPIs were initially set but later changed right before the assessment. The KPIs set by HR are not an appropriate tool to evaluate employee performance. - Unclear leadership and vision - Top management demonstrates insufficient competency. - Top management made decisions without bearing the resulting consequences, which fell on subordinate staff. Puts the burden of mistakes on employees. - Shows favoritism or inconsistent treatment of employees - Poor communication - Confusion, politics, and mixed directions included. - Stay in the same role forever; promotions are a myth. - Hard work rarely gets noticed or rewarded. - Limited opportunities to gain meaningful experience - Slow or inefficient work environment - Toxic - No professional development - Low salary, increment and bonus

The challenges- Crony and political company - Unhealthy and toxic office politics - Mismatch resources between reality - Very less increment and no bonus

"Skilled in maintaining mission-critical IT and OT systems with a strong focus on uptime, cybersecurity, and system reliability in power generation."
The good thingsComing from an IT background, I’ve always enjoyed working with systems, networks, and troubleshooting technology. In the power plant environment, that foundation has expanded significantly. Now, I get to apply my IT skills in a much more dynamic and high-stakes setting — working with control systems, DCS, SCADA, controllers, network infrastructure, and other essential tools and software that directly support the plant's performance and safety. Also, I enjoy the collaboration with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams. It’s a multidisciplinary environment where I’m constantly learning about both traditional plant operations and evolving digital technologies like automation, cybersecurity, and predictive maintenance systems. Every day brings a new challenge, and that keeps the work engaging. I'm proud to be part of something essential — keeping the plant running smoothly and helping ensure the lights stay on for thousands of people.
The challengesComing from an IT background, I see the potential for increased efficiency, reliability, and even cybersecurity improvements through updated systems or automation tools. However, in critical infrastructure environments like power plants, change tends to happen slowly — and understandably so, due to safety and regulatory concerns. That said, it can sometimes be frustrating when outdated systems or manual processes limit productivity or create unnecessary downtime. I believe there's a lot of value in finding a balance — respecting what works while also being open to innovation. As a System Technician, I understand how critical system uptime is. The fear of a trip — whether caused by a network failure, system misconfiguration, or delayed response — means there's very little room for error. This pressure can be intense at times, especially during troubleshooting or system upgrades, where decisions must be made quickly and accurate.

    Terrible and Poor Management
The good thingsNear to public transport
The challengesTop management always change direction. Even though it is written black and white and it is legal binding, top management still want to change it. Cannot trust them. Promise is not a promise. Top management always do planning or so call strategy, but do not care about the consequence. The staff always need to face the consequence. They are not responsible. Communication is terrible here. Top management always fight with each others and not capable. This creates bad culture and working environment. Always not enough budget to cover operation and business needs.

A very good place to learn and starting your career. Can be considered as the biggest IPP in the country
The good thingsI love working here. The environment, culture and atmosphere are great. I was being surrounded by highly experience colleagues and they were willing to share their knowledge to the junior like me. This has accelerated my career growth as well. The benefits and bonuses are also adequate.
The challengesThe politic environment in the management is toxic. It is sad to see people moving out to other companies. I see this a great loss to the company as all of these people is the best talent available in the country. In the long run, management needs to think to move the company forward, venturing new business as many assets are expiring.

The good thingsThe inspection work that I run is strictly in accordance with the prescribed requirements. can learn new work every day. can recognize and control any existing equipment and machinery can learn how to control every process involved in product production Monitor the development of all products manufactured by the company. Responsible for quality in the company's products and services. The main task of Quality Control remains the same in all industries. In the QC mechanical industry guarantee the quality of each part individually. Likewise, for each industry these methods vary per product. QC monitors every process involved in product production. Ensure the quality of goods purchased and finished goods. Recommend reprocessing of low quality products. Responsible for inspection documentation and tests performed on products from a company. QC should ensure the product of the company's standard meets ISO quality such as 9001, ISO 9002 etc Maintain inspection checklist and protocol used in a company. Responsible for identifying issues and issues regarding product quality and also should make recommendations to higher authorities. Make analysis of historical device records and previous product documentation for future reference.
The challengesneed to prepare a large working report within a short period of time. need to be fluent in urdu and tamil language. need to violate the procedures in the inspection work need to do inspection work in a very high working area very hot working area because of its proximity to the sea. should receive a rather harsh remarks from the employer if the report is delivered late because of the short amount of time given

The good thingsI was given a very good opportunities of learning from my superiors. The working environment also very fun and friendly that make me enjoying to do my works everyday. The company benefits are very worth. Besides that, company always organize various programs and events that will help employees engage to each other very well.
