The challengesMiddle management here are facing serious stress due to caught between the demands of senior leadership and the needs of their teams. Middle management are expected to simultaneously drive strategic directives and execute operational duties. This dual role becomes problematic when middle management are expected to deliver high level accountability of a senior role without the corresponding authority, resources and staffs' support, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, isolated and, importantly do more for less remuneration from constantly having to navigate conflicting pressures.
