The purpose of Kenderaan Bas RIDA formed was to provide transportation services to the residents of rural area especially for FELDA settlers and to helped indigenous community commute between intercity.Kenderaan Bas MARA providing services to the rural area has improved a lot, especially in implementing a crucial areas of transportation delivery system. On 1 September 1985, MARA Holdings Sdn Bhd was established, then Kenderaan Bas MARA has been undergo privatisation as government policy to develop entrepreneur to Nadicorp Sdn. Bhd. in year 2000. However, in Tenth Malaysia Plan KBM once again been asked to plays an important role in socioeconomic development of rural communities by providing basic transportation in rural area.Therefore on 23 April 2012, MARA Liner Sdn. Bhd.
