    Mercury Pharmacy opened its first retail pharmacy at Mentakab, Pahang in year 1985. After more than 35 years of serving the community, Mercury now has a fleet of 31 Retail Pharmacies across Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Penang, and close to 400 colleagues.As of 2021, Mercury Pharmacy has officially merged with Big Pharmacy. BIG Pharmacy has grown progressively from a neighbourhood pharmacy to one of Malaysia’s leading pharmacy chain.     Bad company. They kill your working momentum instantly until you lose hope of staying.
    The good thingsGood and supportive staff.
    The challengesNot recommend for long-term career. Sale-oriented pharmacy. Blame culture is common among supervisor, manager and hire department. Too much politic between managers, HR and higher department. Gossip & backbiting between HR executive, supervisor & manager is common. High turnover rate among staff. Need to attend online assessment and exam almost every day-off. Unclear appraisal. Extend probation until you lose hope of staying. Not suitable for family man.

    The challengesBad management, no work-life balance. Allowances/OT cannot pay staff becaus outlet is not doing well.
