Employees at Mutiara International Grammar School appreciated the opportunity to assess their teaching abilities in various areas, the large library space and up-to-date facilities, the work-life balance with less work and long holidays, the amazing family-based community with well-behaved kids, and the great, loving, friendly, and dedicated colleagues.
However, there were some potential challenges, such as the location of the school being far from some employees' homes, concerns about limited career growth opportunities and slow processes for revising staff contracts, a feeling that compensation and benefits could be improved with low pay and a lack of increments or other benefits, a perception of micromanagement and too much interference from management, and a need for additional training for some teachers in areas like physical education.
