What’s it like working at Nesh Marketing?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Nesh Marketing appreciate the learning and development opportunities provided through job training, career development programmes, and exposure to roles beyond their normal job scope. They also value the wide job scope, which offers hands-on experience across various job segments, making them more marketable. The company promotes an environment-friendly culture, encouraging recycling and power-saving initiatives, and organises annual dinners and festival celebrations for employee engagement.

However, there are some potential areas for improvement. The compensation and benefits structure could be reviewed to align with current market trends and attract/retain talent. Employees have indicated that there can be a heavy workload with ad-hoc tasks and multitasking, often requiring overtime. Some have noted unnecessary processes that could be streamlined, and a need for better collaboration and clear instructions. Additionally, there is a perception of unequal opportunities and a need to recognise contributions beyond sales roles.

    Opportunity to learn
The good thingsIt's an ISO certified company and Management really follow it, systematic and organized. The management provides dozen of job training & career development and opportunity to learn beyond normal job scope. Eg: you can be a sales person but you are given chance to become emcee, photographer, etc. Exposure to other things.
The challengesIncrement percentage very limited if you work within job scope. Always have to expand job scope to other area in order to get higher increment. Performing extraordinary in daily jobs won't get you to anywhere. Staff need to work during recreation activities such as annual dinner.....Staff benefits is outdated, should catch up with current market trend in order to attract and retain talents.

The good thingsThere was a good exposure here, the job scope is wide, which means that you have hands on experience in handling segments of the job and you would be more marketable due to your experience. However, wide job scope also means increased responsibilities. Provides learning opportunity, basic in-house and outsources training, but it's depend on your job requirement. They do provide annual dinner and festival celebration, however, you will be selected as committee during preparation or else, you will be labeled as not willing to help. Environment friendly, encourages recycling and power saving.
The challengesThe company should improve in providing the benefit for the staff to enjoy instead of just listed in the paper, especially on annual leave and working hour. too many ad hoc job and multitasking required and always expect you work overtime. There were also too many unnecessary processes which takes up time to complete a tasks. The company should provide a tight close-knit environment that treasures an open and collaborative culture where ideas are valued. The company should have hire an event company to organize company annual dinner, and all the company staff should be enjoying the food and entertainment on the annual dinner, not supposed to work on annual dinner. Had need to pamper the sales staff, if not they will complaining you. Not giving equal opportunities. Lack of clear instruction and direction. You will find some of the colleague are not willing to co-operate with you. The management will withholding your salary during your resignation until your job duties has been fully settled, even thought that is not under your responsibility.
