Toxic regional leadership, poor communication, unrealistic deadlines, and disrespect for personal time. Benefits and training are lacking, roles are unclear, and departments are disorganized. Workplace culture is stressful and demoralizing.
The good thingsVisionary founder: Mr. Song Hoi See is a forward-thinking entrepreneur whose leadership has shaped the company into a respected global brand in the travel and hospitality space. Staff-conscious at the top: The founder places value on staff welfare and is known for his genuine care toward employee.

    Legal Intern

More than anyone would expect for an internship position. The salary is average. I am glad there is a huge exposure to international company secretaries layer and attended several webinar on company set up as well.
The good thingsA lot of good perks and salary is good for a first job as a legal intern. Received exposure to international jurisdiction such as UAE, United States of America, Hong Kong especially as this company I worked for is based in Hong Kong and legal department in Malaysia reports directly to Hong Kong headquarters.
The challengesChallenges are a part of work development that one could use for as growth and experiences. As there are lesser labour in legal department, hence we would always work overtime and still receives emails after 10pm at night and also during the weekend. As a fresh graduate, many would be appreciative for the exposure provided, however work life balance is also crucial. I do not mind working over time provided there are bonuses to OT rate and other medical perks provided.

    Leadership
The good thingsThey have a knowledgeable and experienced HR PMO, providing professional advice and career development to the team. She was also willing to share her knowledge and full support whenever you need help. Every company if without a professional and talented employee they can't performance smoothly. It is highly recommended people who are interested to challenge yourself, please join this company and sure you will learn and grow within a short period.
The challengesThe business background is a family business and converting to a global shared service model. The entire organization management structure are more way to an improvement. Since this is the newly set up global shared service, it is advisable to obtain the local director with the mindset of inclusion and diversity. This is to balance the different functional and teamwork. At last not least, the working environment is above excellent, only the building management needs to consider and replan the lift usage for the High Floor zone, otherwise, it could wasting the long waiting time during peak hour.

    Give your all out.
The good thingsIm enjoy working here because of the environment, the place and collegue feels like one family. Feels comfortable working in this kind of environment.
The challengesThe challenging part working for this company is that when customers were from various places. There for you'll find it challengeing to communicate with different languages with the customers. You'll need to improve yourself in the way of communication to satisfy the customer's needs. That is the most challenging part that you'll face when working in the hospitality filed.

    New Experience
The good thingsReport directly to Owner. Very supportive in new implementation and Ideas. He would be able to guide you how to go about handling the business, a good listener.Acute Businessman and a lot of thing learned from him. A leader that leads his team to success and not demanding recognition.
The challengesCommunication with different region was a set back for me. All region heads only met once all together once. Different region needs different ways to handle business not all is the same. Will do it all over again with the above improvemnt in future....
