Toxic regional leadership, poor communication, unrealistic deadlines, and disrespect for personal time. Benefits and training are lacking, roles are unclear, and departments are disorganized. Workplace culture is stressful and demoralizing.
The good thingsVisionary founder: Mr. Song Hoi See is a forward-thinking entrepreneur whose leadership has shaped the company into a respected global brand in the travel and hospitality space. Staff-conscious at the top: The founder places value on staff welfare and is known for his genuine care toward employee.

More than anyone would expect for an internship position. The salary is average. I am glad there is a huge exposure to international company secretaries layer and attended several webinar on company set up as well.
The good thingsA lot of good perks and salary is good for a first job as a legal intern. Received exposure to international jurisdiction such as UAE, United States of America, Hong Kong especially as this company I worked for is based in Hong Kong and legal department in Malaysia reports directly to Hong Kong headquarters.
The challengesChallenges are a part of work development that one could use for as growth and experiences. As there are lesser labour in legal department, hence we would always work overtime and still receives emails after 10pm at night and also during the weekend. As a fresh graduate, many would be appreciative for the exposure provided, however work life balance is also crucial. I do not mind working over time provided there are bonuses to OT rate and other medical perks provided.
